Our Cruise Pack is designed to cover emergency medical expenses onboard, ship to shore evacuation, pre-paid shore excursion cancellation, cabin confinement and more.1,2,3

 

Taking valuable items with you?

If you plan to take valuable items with you, you can purchase Increased Items Limits cover with a Comprehensive, Multi trip, Domestic plan. Your item may be covered for a higher value if it is stolen, lost or damaged.1,4

 

Unexpected change of plans?

Our Comprehensive, Multi-trip and Domestic plans let you choose your level of cancellation cover. This benefit is designed to provide cover where your journey is cancelled, rescheduled or shortened because of circumstances that weren’t expected or intended by you and are outside your control.5

 

Pre-existing medical conditions

You can apply to include cover under your policy for your pre-existing medical conditions at the time of buying your policy. You’ll need to complete our medical assessment which can be done online or by calling us on 13 1000.

Depending on your pre-existing medical condition(s), we may not be able to cover any medical or hospital expenses, or any other losses or expenses arising from, related to or associated with any injury, illness or sickness suffered by you.

Like anyone thinking about travel insurance, you choose your travel destinations and how long you’ll stay. You'll also need to enter your age as part of this process and declare any pre-existing medical conditions.

Your policy may cover different things, based on the type of policy you choose.

Allianz Travel Insurance has no age limit on Comprehensive and Domestic plans for single trips. However, eligibility criteria and other conditions may apply, such as any pre-existing medical conditions.

The cost of your travel insurance will depend on several factors. These include the length of your trip, your age, and your destination(s). It also considers any pre-existing medical conditions you may have. For more information on how your insurance premium is calculated, please read the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).

Allianz Travel Insurance includes some pre-existing medical conditions that are covered at no additional cost, subject to written acceptance by Allianz Global Assistance to include cover for your pre-existing medical condition/s.

If you have a pre-existing medical condition, make sure you tell us. When buying online, select ‘Yes’ to get coverage for your pre-existing medical condition. This will take you through the online medical assessment process.

Yes, for an additional premium you can add an optional cruise pack to your plan. Our Cruise Pack is available for travellers of any age on our Comprehensive and Domestic plans1. If you have a Multi-Trip plan you can also add a cruise pack. However, you must be under 75 years at the time the Certificate of Insurance is issued1.
