Terms and conditions

Allianz – Terms and Conditions for the “Fan Hub” Competition (“Promotion”)

  1. Information on how to enter the promotion and the prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Entries into the promotion open on 01/04/2025 and close at 11:59 PM AEST on 01/05/2025. This is known as the promotional period. All references to times recorded throughout these Terms and Conditions are a reference to the local time in Sydney, New South Wales.
  3. The promoter is Allianz Australia Insurance Limited (ABN 15 000 122 850) of 10 Carrington Street, Sydney NSW 2000.
  4. Entry into the Promotion is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
  5. Employees of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
  6. The promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of each entrant (including their identity, age and place of residence) and the validity of each entry. They also reserve the right to disqualify any person who the promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these terms and conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of this promotion. Further, any contact details provided incorrectly may be deemed by the promoter as an invalid entry. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the promoter’s sole discretion. Failure by the promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
  7. If there’s a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
  8. Individuals receive one entry into the promotion when, during the promotion period, an entrant undertakes the following steps:
    1. Visit the promotion entry page. The entry page can be accessed by:
      • Clicking on a link featuring this promotion available via a promotional eDM sent to the entrant
      • Clicking on a link from a social post featuring this Promotion
      • Scanning a QR code available at a game day activation at Allianz Stadium on 04/04/2025
      • Scanning a QR code on Official Football Australia Merchandise
    2. Input the requested details including their full name, contact number, and a valid email address
    3. Submit the fully completed online entry form.
  9. Only one entry is permitted per person.
  10. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
  11. The draw will take place at Anisimoff Legal, 3 Amy Close, Wyong NSW 2259 at 11:00 AM AEST on 15/05/2025. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible Entrant is drawn. Winners will be notified in writing by email within two business days of the draw. Winner’s details (first initial, surname and postcode) will be published on the winner announcement page on 22/05/2025.
  12. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  13. The first valid entry drawn will win:
    • A $1,000 prepaid Visa card;
    • 1 x Category A Double Pass (two tickets) to a Subway Socceroos game during the 2025 calendar year. Exact game to be determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion; and
    • A signed Subway Socceroos Jersey.

      Total prize is valued at $1,450.

  14. The next valid entry drawn will win:
    • A $1,000 prepaid Visa card;
    • 1 x Category A Double Pass (two tickets) to a CommBank Matildas game during the 2025 calendar year. Exact game to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion; and
    • A signed CommBank Matildas Jersey.

      Total prize is valued at $1,450.

  15. Winners are responsible for all ancillary costs associated with getting to and from the selected Socceroos or Matildas game, including but not limited to any travel and accommodation costs required.
  16. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prepaid Visa card aren’t included. Any unused balance of the prepaid Visa card will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the prepaid Visa card is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the prepaid Visa card.
  17. The Subway Socceroos and CommBank Matildas ticket prizes are subject to the event venue and ticket terms and conditions, including any applicable age restriction. The promoter and event organisers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject any winner their companion for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the prize.
  18. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic or any other kind of disaster, the promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend, substitute or modify a reward.
  19. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner doesn’t take a prize (or an element of the prize) by the time stipulated by the promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited.
  20. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
  21. Total prize pool value is $2,900.
  22. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, aren’t transferable or exchangeable and can’t be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
  23. A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 16/06/2025 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners, if any, will be notified in writing by email within two business days of the draw. Winner’s details (first initial, surname and postcode) will be published on the winner announcement page on 23/06/2025.
  24. Entrants consent to the promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the promoter.
  25. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or isn’t capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
  26. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the internet service provider used.
  27. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia. Except for any liability that can’t by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
  28. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the non-excludable guarantees, the promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) isn’t responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of:
    1. any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the promoter’s control)
    2. any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference
    3. any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the promoter
    4. any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions
    5. if the selected Subway Socceroos or CommBank Matildas game is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the promoter
    6. any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant
    7. use of a prize
  29. Privacy Notice: Entry is conditional on providing the requested personal information. By entering this promotion, each entrant consents to the retention, use and disclosure of their personal information by the promoter in the following ways:
    • for the purposes of conducting the promotion and any matter connected to the promotion
    • if the entrant is a prize winner in this promotion, for publicity purposes in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration, compensation or prior notice to the entrant.
  30. The promoter may disclose personal information to third parties for the above purposes, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities for the purpose of conducting this promotion and sending offers and information to each entrant.
