Our Roadside Assistance provides you with 24/7 Australia-wide support1 from experienced mechanics to get your car back on the road again. Simply call us for assistance and we’ll help diagnose the problem and figure out the next steps. If we can’t fix the issue over the phone, we’ll send a qualified mobile mechanic to help you.

The most common reasons why you might need roadside assistance include the following:

  • Your car breaks down due to a flat battery or flat tyres
  • You accidentally lock your car keys in your vehicle
  • Your electric car runs out of charge
  • You need a fuel top up or a tow

Yes, you can, but you’ll be charged a $100 (incl. GST) service fee. Our Roadside Assistance memberships have a 48-hour waiting period, which means you won’t be entitled to any roadside assistance services during this time. If you need our services within the 48-hour waiting period, you must pay a $100 (incl. GST) service fee before we'll provide services to you. This fee pays for the initial call out only. We won’t provide you with any other services under our terms and conditions.

Make sure you have the following information ready:

  • The vehicle’s registration number
  • The exact location of the vehicle
  • A contact telephone number
  • A description of the problem

Your safety is very important to us. While you’re waiting for us to arrive, check your surroundings and stay safe. If possible, move your vehicle to the side of the road and switch on your hazard lights.

Your membership period will last for 12 months, starting from the date when you bought your membership plan. You can find your membership details on your Membership Certificate. If you're unsure, or need help, call us on 1800 010 536.
No, it’s not. However, you can buy our Roadside Assistance membership with or without car insurance.
There are a number of scenarios that aren’t included in our Roadside Assistance, such as being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, intentionally acting in a way that poses a risk to your safety, or not keeping your vehicle in a roadworthy condition.   2. All Roadside Assistance memberships include a 48-hour waiting period. If you need a technician during this period, an additional fee of $100 (incl. GST) will be charged. No other services will be provided during this 48-hour waiting period, including towing.
